The Omiš zipline is one of Europe's most dramatic zipline experiences — eight lines criss-crossing the Cetina canyon gorge at heights up to 150 metres, reaching speeds of 65km/h, with views that stretch across the canyon to the Adriatic coast. Pure, unfiltered adrenaline.
The Omiš Zipline sits directly above the Cetina River canyon — one of Dalmatia's most spectacular gorges — and uses the full drama of the landscape to create an experience that's unlike any other in Croatia. The course features eight separate zip lines, with the longest stretching over 700 metres and the highest running 150 metres above the canyon floor.
The course begins with a jeep ride up into the mountains above Omiš, followed by a safety briefing and harness fitting. Then you step off the first platform and the canyon drops away below you. The sensation of flying above a 150-metre gorge at 65km/h — with the turquoise Cetina River visible far below and the Adriatic on the horizon — is genuinely difficult to describe.
The full course takes around 2.5 hours including the jeep transfer up and down the mountain. It's perfectly located to combine with a canyoning session in the same canyon (morning zipline, afternoon canyoning) or with the Cetina River rafting for a full Cetina Canyon adventure day. Omiš is just 30 minutes from Split, making it an easy addition to any Split itinerary.
