Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Croatia Travel Agency ("we", "us", "our") and you ("the Customer", "you") when you book any tour, activity, day trip or transfer service through our website croatiatravelagency.com or by any other means of communication. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms in full.

1. Definitions

"Service" means any tour, activity, day trip, transfer, or experience provided by Croatia Travel Agency.

"Booking" means a confirmed reservation for any Service made by the Customer.

"Deposit" means the initial partial payment required to secure a Booking.

"Participant" means any person included in the Booking who will take part in the Service.

2. Booking & Confirmation

A Booking is considered confirmed only after: (a) we have received your completed booking request via form, email, or WhatsApp; and (b) we have sent you a written Booking Confirmation. Verbal arrangements or enquiries do not constitute a confirmed Booking.

Upon confirmation, we will send details of your tour or service including meeting point, time, what to bring, and contact information for your guide. Please check all details upon receipt and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.

We reserve the right to decline any Booking at our discretion without providing a reason.

3. Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 20–30% of the total booking value is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is payable on the day of the tour or activity, before the start of the Service.

For bookings made within 48 hours of the Service start time, full payment is required at the time of booking.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, bank transfer, and cash (EUR). All prices are quoted in Euros (€) inclusive of VAT where applicable.

In the event of non-payment of the remaining balance on the day, we reserve the right to cancel the Service without a refund of the deposit.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations by the Customer:

• Cancellation 48+ hours before the Service start time: full refund of any payments made, excluding the deposit.
• Cancellation within 48 hours of the Service start time: no refund. The booking may be rescheduled subject to availability at our discretion.
• No-shows (failure to appear at the meeting point at the agreed time): no refund.

Cancellations by Croatia Travel Agency:

• If we cancel a Service for any reason other than force majeure (see Section 9), you will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit.
• If we cancel due to unsafe weather conditions, you will be offered a free reschedule or a full refund.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@croatiatravelagency.com or via WhatsApp. The date and time of the written request will determine which cancellation tier applies.

5. Changes to Bookings

Requests to change the date, time or activity type of an existing Booking must be submitted at least 48 hours before the Service start time. Changes are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge if the new service is of higher value.

We reserve the right to make minor changes to itineraries (e.g., route adjustments, stop order changes) due to operational or safety reasons without compensation.

6. Liability

Croatia Travel Agency carries full public liability insurance for all Services. We are not liable for: (a) personal injury or death caused by the Customer's failure to follow guide instructions or safety briefings; (b) loss or damage to personal belongings during a Service; (c) any indirect, consequential or economic loss.

Participants take part in adventure activities (river rafting, canyoning, sea kayaking, etc.) at their own risk, having been informed of and accepted the inherent risks of such activities.

We strongly recommend all Customers obtain adequate travel insurance that covers personal accident, medical expenses, cancellation and personal effects before travelling. Croatia Travel Agency is not responsible for any costs incurred as a result of inadequate travel insurance.

7. Health & Safety

By booking, each Participant confirms that they are in good health and physically fit to participate in the chosen activity. It is the Customer's responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, allergies or other relevant health information that may affect participation before the Booking is confirmed.

We reserve the right to exclude any Participant from a Service if, in our guide's sole judgement, they are unfit to participate safely, without refund.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or have written consent from a parent or guardian. Age and weight restrictions apply to certain activities as stated on individual activity pages.

8. Participant Behaviour

All Participants are expected to behave in a respectful manner toward guides, other participants, third parties and the natural environment. Croatia Travel Agency reserves the right to remove any Participant from a tour at any time due to disruptive, dangerous or offensive behaviour, without refund.

Participants who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to join adventure activities and will forfeit their booking without refund.

9. Weather & Force Majeure

Croatia Travel Agency shall not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performance of our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or other force majeure events.

In such cases, we will offer a reschedule or a credit note. Refunds for force majeure cancellations are at our discretion and subject to any costs already incurred.
